“Oh no, here we go. Poor little rich girl shows her true colours”
It’s the funeral of Thomas Carrington in this episode of Dynasty and Alexis finally makes her debut. But there were also a couple of other jaw-dropping moments, to make this episode one of the best.
After the events that happened at Fallon and Jeff’s wedding, Jeff and Fallon are on the warpath. Pointed out by Monica, Jeff is not the victim, he tried to double cross Fallon and she is the one who came out on top. Having enough of all the drama that her brother has caused, Monica is trying to become the owner of her father’s guardianship and have Cecil moved to her apartment. So basically Jeff is left alone unless he ends the feud with Fallon, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.
Speaking about Fallon, after revealing that Liam, Sam’s date at the wedding, is her husband, she can’t annul her marriage just yet as she needs to save face in the media. When accompanying Fallon to her grandfather’s funeral, Liam is recognised by a woman but as someone called Chad, “John and Laura’s boy”. Claiming that she has mistaken him for someone else, Fallon doesn’t batter an eye. This could mean many things but one thing is for sure, Liam is not his real name but it might not also be Chad, he could have multiple aliases.
I have always loved Sammy Jo and Steven together and after the last episode, it made extremely happy when they officially got back together but my happiness soon left when Thomas called immigration. Finding out that is was Thomas who called ICE on Sam, Anders tells him who then keeps it a secret from Steven, as he doesn’t want to ruin the memory of his grandfather. To help with Sam’s citizenship problem, Steven turns to his ex-girlfriend, Melissa Daniels. They were both involved with each other ten years ago, but in exchange for the visa, Steven has to sleep with her.
Sam receives his visa and then he, Anders and Steven celebrate with some champagne from the Titanic. Later at the funeral, Steven uses his eulogy to propose to Sam and basically telling his grandfather where to stick it.
As you would figure, Blake is not dealing with his father’s death very well and treating everybody, especially Cristal, horribly. Wanting to prove to Blake that she loves him, not his money, Crystal makes an appointment with a divorce lawyer to take Blake’s money out of the prenup.
The episode ends on the moment we have all been waiting for and incomes Alexis, interrupting Thomas’ funeral with a “Sorry, I’m late. Traffic was a b*tch.
