Neighbours to air its first same-sex marriage
It was only last year that I first started watching the Australian soap Neighbours, along with Home and Away. Neighbours, making its way into a few of my top 5 posts, is in my top 5 TV soaps at number one. The show continues to show growth and keeps impressing me and many more fans.
Yesterday it was announced that Neighbours will make broadcasting history later this year, by featuring Australian TV’s first same-sex wedding.
In upcoming scenes, airing in September, fan favourite couple Aaron Brennan and David Tanaka will tie the knot and so becoming husbands. Myself and loads of other fans are overly excited for this after the perfect double proposal a few weeks back.
Newly released photographs released by Network Ten, have revealed that actress and LGBT activist Magda Szubanski will guest star as the celebrant.
