It’s that time of the year again. On October 17th 2023, GMMTV have announced some of their new shows for the new year. There are so many on this list that I am extremely excited about and already can’t wait for them. At the beginning we were treated with a selection of clips from the shows that aired this year or are currently airing. LYKN was also the opening act that kicked off the whole event and they are so good!
We are still expecting a few more shows that were announced last year but the few that we won’t see until next year include;
- Wednesday Club
- Last Twilight
- Faceless Love
- Cherry Magic
While watching the livestream on YouTube, I was writing down my feelings and my opinion on the teaser trailers that were released.
*Note: these are my own personal thoughts on the upcoming series that GMMTV announced on October 17th*
The Interest
Last year we were shown a trailer for a movie staring Bright called The Interest, and this year we were shown another trailer for it. Even though Bright has left GMMTV, I still consider him one of my all time favourite artists out there and will be watching this when I can.
My Precious the Series
My Precious the movie is getting tuned into a series, and I will be watching this once I eventually watch the movie.
Ploy’s Yearbook
I will watch any show that includes Namtan and to see her paired with Earth will be interesting. I am actually happy to see a variety of different pairings that will come with this series and I can’t wait to see how it all folds out.
We Are
The first BL of the night and there are so many couples in this and by then end of the trailer my heart was full! Pond and Phuwin are the main couple but I have a feeling I might also get second (Or maybe third and fourth) couple syndrome. My heart did skipped a beat when I also saw Marc and Pawin as another couple. Lets just say that I am really excited for this one.
The Trainee
OFF AND GUN ARE BACK AGAIN! But this time in an office based series. There is also just something about them being in another series where they are making a movie, is exciting to me.
My Boo!
Another BL? We are getting treated next year! This actually looks interesting and a contract saying no dating within a boyband? I do like an obstacle that characters are determined to break.
Pluto
What did I just witness? Now this is the series for me. This has officially shot its way to the top of my list. Not only is it a GL, but I get to see Namtan in a GL! I love the couples in this and the whole storyline has me hooked.
Peaceful Property On Sale
I love it when we get a silly series and a ghost one? I am in. As a huge fan of all things supernatural, this series looks amazing! Not to mention the cast is fire! Tay and New? Mook and Jan? They are literally some of my favourite artists in GMMTV.
Ossan’s Love Thailand
Thailand are once again creating a remake of a well know series and this time it is Ossan’s Love and Mix and Earth are the couple. As one of the many ships that GMMTV has, I am excited to see this two once again.
My Golden Blood
A vampire series with Joss as the vampire? wow, this is exciting! This one has well and truly shocked me, but in a good way. Joss and Gawin are unexpected but I love it and I am ready to have this BL series.
Kidnap
Usually I can multitask but I had to stop everything I was doing to watch this trailer. This looks really good and I can’t wait to be introduced to Leng and I do love Papang.
Summer Night
A battle for a girls heart…yes that can only end well. That being said, my cheeks hurt from smiling too much, this series looks good.
Wandee Goodday
Very interesting… Throughout this trailer I found myself spinning in my chair. I’ll let you decide if that a good thing or not.
High School Frenemy
This series looks like it will be high on my list of favourite show to come next year because we finally some action! I do love a series with a lot of action and it looks like I might get that here. And did I see the twins and my new favourite Mark? Yes, yes I did!
My Love Mix-up
We have another remake and it is one I am very happy about! As a huge fan of the manga and the other series, this Thai version My Love Mix-up is getting me very giddy.
Enigma Season 2
WIN HAS ARRIVED! We are officially getting a second season of Enigma. I absolutely loved the first one and I am really hoping I will love this one too.
This year has been amazing! There are so many that I will definitely be watching. I wasn’t expecting half of what was shown to us. I was a little upset to not see any of my favourite ships mentioned in a new series. But I am sure that as the new year arrives, we will be able to see them in a few more series.
